Replace Siding Behind Electric Box

Need advice for replacing siding piece behind meter box.

The conduit doesn t go through the piece i want to remove. I am in the process of vinyl siding my house. The meter just has 4 screws attached to it. I feel comfortable with electricity but i m guessing i will have to call my utility company.
